What we are looking for:

Partner Forces is seeking a Public Outreach Program Analyst to provide programmatic and communication support to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. This position will assist in product development, content creation and enhancement, and engagement support to senior federal leadership and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, enthusiastic about the mission of DHS, comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and eager to take on new challenges.  

What you will do as a Public Outreach Program Analyst:

  • Provide analysis, planning, communications, research, and technical writing support to promote awareness around school safety and security.
  • Draft proposed communications for delivery to audiences via email, blog, social media, and printed content.
  • Assist in formulating and executing public outreach, marketing, and messaging plans to assist with public awareness campaigns and product roll outs.
  • Coordinate, manage, and provide logistical, and administrative support for meetings, summits, and other outreach events.
  • Provide media and graphics support, to include the development of new products as well as update of previously produced resources.
  • Independently research and resolve or offer solutions to unusual problems in performing a variety of duties. 
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel. 
  • Keep informed of the mission, organizational structure, key personnel, current activities, status of current projects, and any issues affecting the organization. 
  • Contribute to positive team culture and collaborative working environment. 

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS HQ suitability required; current preferred.
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Have the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in photo and image-editing software, including Adobe InDesign and Canva.
  • Drupal web content design experience preferred.
  • 508 Compliance editing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
