Junior Analyst

Status: Full Time
Location: Arlington, VA

Partner Forces, LLC., is seeking a Junior Analyst to support a Department of Homeland Security client. The candidate will provide mission and analytical support services that focus on strategic communications, strategic planning and analysis, identification of best practices and solutions leveraged by industry and scientific community leaders that can be implemented by owners and operators; and state, local, tribal and territorial partners and activities. Duties include, but are not limited to, research, data collection and analysis, strategic writing, outreach and coordination, and resource development.

Core Requirements & Essential Duties

  • Support client through effective task management, research and analysis, and product development.
  • Use technical writing and editing skills to develop documents ensuring comprehensive quality control.
  • Support operational activities that improve client capabilities to develop, deliver, measure, and report on products and efforts that improve critical infrastructure security and resilience.
  • Provide research and planning for the development, coordination, and implementation of innovative resources, guides, fact sheets, and processes. Design supporting documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures and briefing materials.
  • Assist with knowledge management efforts for the Division; maintain historical information through a properly maintained administrative records system.
  • Keep informed of the mission, organizational structure, key personnel, current activities, status of current projects, and any issues affecting the organization. Research and understand the evolving threat environment as it relates to the Department of Homeland Security’s priorities.
  • Coordinate projects and de-conflict priorities to ensure client goals are met and the project requirements are accomplished.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS HQ suitability required; current preferred
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree required
  • 0-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and excel in a team environment
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills with clients and colleagues
